SaaS Transportation, Inc. to seamlessly integrate with LoadDex, Logistical Labs’ cloud-based freight market pricing platform
Destin, FL and Chicago, IL – December 8, 2015 – SaaS Transportation, Inc., a software and consulting services company; and Logistical Labs, a cloud-based supply chain software provider, today announced a partnership to integrate their complementary cloud-based supply chain software solutions. This strategic alliance will benefit mutual customers, allowing them to access their Less-than-Truckload rates alongside all truckload and intermodal rates in a single easy-to-use platform.
“We’re thrilled that our partnership with SaaS allows customers to take their workflows to the next level,” said Chris Ricciardi, Chief Product Officer of Logistical Labs. “Rather than having to use disparate TMS platforms, everything is in one place—allowing for faster, easier mode optimization.”
“I am a big advocate of best-of-breed integrations,” said SaaS president and CEO, Ken Pehanick. “Experience has taught me that a ‘one-size fits all’ approach rarely works when is come to TMS requirements in the 3PL industry. I believe the partnership between SaaS and Logistical Labs will provide a better solution to our customer base.”
Logistical Labs’ LoadDex aggregates pricing information for any given route and empowers users to make strategic decisions about pricing and mode selection. LoadDex collects relevant historical, social, and external pricing data through interactive tools to quickly compare and accurately track rates. LoadDex users can analyze multiple years of data—thousands of data points from disparate systems—in less than two seconds to find the most efficient and cost-effective option.
SaaS, based in Destin, Florida, provides a cloud–based transportation management system (TMS) used by 3PLs, shippers, and freight payment providers. The core component of the SaaS TMS is a best-of-breed rate engine with an emphasis on LTL freight. However, all modes are accommodated and rates can be managed using APIs as well as traditional contract management.
